ASSASSINATION OF MINISTER MURDERERS STILL AT LARGE Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright. WARSAW, Juno 16. The police have arrested 100 people in connection with the assassination of M. Picracki but the murderers are still free. The public is divided on the question of whether Nazis or Ukrainian terorists were responsible. A crowd smashed Nazi newspaper windows, ( and the Nazis retaliated on a pro-Govern-ment newspaper.
NAZIS SUSPECTED LONDON, Juno 17. The ‘ Newa-Chronicle’s ’ Warsaw correspondent says M. Pieracki was assassinated an hour before he was due to sign a decree abolishing the Polish Nazi Party, to which the assassins are believed to he members.
