GREATEST IN HISTORY Press Association—By Telegraph-Copyright WASHINGTON, June 16. The public debt has reached the greatest total in America’s history. It was 27,005,000,000 dollars, a slight excess of the post-war peak in 1919. The current deficit is about 3,600,000,000 dollars.
