The Anglo-French trade talks terminated satisfactorily, and the agreement •was initialled in London at noon. A communique states that the agreement satisfactorily removes AngloFrench difficulties. Retaliatory measures will, be withdrawn, and each will concede most-favoured-nation treatment in Customs matters. The agreement also embodies tariff adjustments and arrangements with regard to quotas. The decisions will improve the conditions at present governing trade in certain agricultural products.
