AHss Jacobs defeated Aliss Round, 6-4, 6-4; Aliss Nuthall defeated Aliss Baucock, 5-7, 6-3, 6-4; Aliss Palfrey defeated Miss Scriven, 4-6, 6-2, 8-6. Misses Jacobs and Palfrey defeated Airs Godfree and Miss Nuthall, 5-7, 6-3, 6-2. America has won the Wightraan Cup for the eighth time. Misses jacobs and Round were run to a standstill, the play being the finest in a women’s match at Wimbledon for years.
