DESPERATE BANDITS
BATTLE WITH POLICE SENSATION IN WARSAW Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. WARSAW, Juno 15. (Received June 16, at 10 a.m.) Surprised while rifling the bedrooms of a wealthy _ manufacturer, two bandits shot their way from the house and escaped in a taxicab, which a police car overtook in a running fight. Four pedestrians were killed and eight wounded. The bandits ran into a shop, where they withstood an attack till an armoured car with machine guns broke down their resistance. The bandits were found dead, their bodies being riddled with bullets.
