The scale of the -meetings may be gauged by 'the fact that on the "first day of the campaign in Toronto audiences of 35,000 were addressed in various halls and churches. Tiie national newspapers are giving great publicity to the meetings, which are clearly considered to have a high news vahie. There could be _no more decisive or dispassionate tribute to them than that.—“ Janus,” in the ‘ Spectator. ’
