DR NORWOOD’S VISIT
Dr Norwood, of the City Temple, London, who will visit the city this week and conduct inspirational meetings, is the minister of one of the most important churches in London. The City Temple is the home of British Free Church men, and the doctor succeeded to the ministries of Dr Joseph Parker, Dr J. R. Campbell, and Dr Fort Newton. The famous temple is undergoing reconstruction which will add _ enormously to the spiritual life and impact of the ministry carried on within it. The renovations will admit of a great social service work in the heart of don i Rest rooms, chapel for private devotions, cafeteria, rooms for group meetings are all included in the plans. Four times the present accommodation will be provided, which gives an idea of the influences which pervade tha ministry of the City Temple.
