MILK SUPPLY.
TO THE EDITOB. Sir, —A very sensible letter on the above by “ Unemployed Father of Three ” in to-night’s ‘ Star ’ expresses my views . and those of many others. There is. a perfect craze, too, for [inspectors for everything we eat or drink, raising the price by the large salaries they get. I sincerely hope that abomination of bottled milk will not be in vogue. I had it foi; some time till I was able to’get a decent, dairyman. Never again, if 1 can help it! If retail shops were closed it would be an impossibility to get more milk if one ran short. Shops 1 ha've_ seen have been spotlessly clean. There is nothing but interference in everything now by unqualified men. I am afraid the milk supply will be exploited like the unemployment, for well-paid billets for a favoured number. It all makes it for the majority, June 12. Hard to Live.
