The Silver Purchase Plan Bill, which was passed by the Senate, will go back to the House for action on amendments designed to increase •he uso of silver. The Bill would direct the purchase of silver with the ultimate objective of acquiring enough lo establish a ratio of 25 to 75 with gold in the monetary stocks of the United States. Friends of the legislation estimated that this would require the purchase of 1,300,000,0000 z.
