Between Mr Arthur E. R. Gilligan, the former Sussex and England cricket captain, and Miss Katherina Margaret Eox, of Tlkley, Yorkshire, the Scots form of marriage by declaration took place in Edinburgh. The ceremony was carried through before the marriage agent, and was later registered and confirmed before Sheriff Orr at the Sheriff Court.
