COMMUNITY SINGING
The weekly community sing will be held in the Strand Theatre (by courtesy of Messrs Fuller-Hay ward) on Friday next, at 12.30 pan; Last week the theatre was packed. It is gratifying to the committee that donations are being,sent in. Last week two different listeners-in each made a. donation of a ton of coal, and' further Amounts have been promised. Mr H. : P. Desmoulins will again be in charge, and another excellent programme is assured. This week the Philip sisters will entertain with cornet and piano. Mtss Rita Holmes will be at'the piano. Donations may be sent to the secretary, care of Begg’s, and the Strand Theatre,
