FORESTERS

The fortnightly meeting of Court Excelsior was held in the court room. St. Maw’s Hall. Mornington, the C.R., Bro.' A. C. Oldham. presiding over a full attendance of officers and a good muster of members. .Invitations were received to a social evening from Court Little Joint and from Court St. Andrews to the second round of its five hundred card tournament. It was decided to send the same team which represented the court at* the first round. A visitor from Court Foresters’ Pride. Waimate (Bro. G. Davidson), was welcomed. P.C.R. Bro. J. C. S. MfMinn reported on a visit to Court King Edwardis Pride. •It was resolved to send a letter, ot congratulation to Bro. Roy Patton on his being selected to represent Otago at Association football. One new brother was admitted into the order. At the close of the meeting the brothers entertained the Mornington Football arid Harrier Clubs, the evening taking the form of a progressive euchrri tournament. The winners weree For'the football chib Mr W. Moon, and for the harrier club Mr A. G. Hall. Court Excelsior’s Pride Juvenile Foresters held its monthly meeting in the Methodist Church Hall. Mornington. all the officers and a good muster of the .Management Committee being in attendance'. The president (Bro. •). C. S. M'Minn) addressed the young brothers.
