Ivor George Bryan, a motor car tyre salesman, who Was found guilty yesterday of negligent driving as to cause the death of a boy fourteen years of age, was fined £SO and ordered to pay the costs of the prosecution (£l3) in the Supreme Court to-day. Mr Justice Fair, in passing sentence,, said lie bad taken into consideration the unusual circumstances. The accused had committed an error of judgment in striking the boy. His Honour 'had 'also taken into consideration the jury * strong recommendation to mercy.—' Press-Association,
