The Otago Provincial Fruitgrowers’ Council advises that the High Commissioner’s cabled report for the_ week ended June 9 on the London fruit market is as Hollows: —Akaroa discharging fruit in good condition. Market overstocked and weak, especially small sizes. Current prices are:—Apples— Ballarat, 8s 6d to Us; Cleopatra, 8s to 10s 6d; Delicious, 6s 0d to 10s 6d; bulk small, 6s 9d to 7s 6d; Dougherty, 10s 6d to 11s; Dunn’s Favourite, 7s to 9s 6d; Granny Smith, 12s; Jonathan, 7s to Us; bulk small, 7s to 8s; Borne Beauty, 7s 9d to 8s 6d; Statesman and London Pippin, Ss to'9s; Stunner, is to 9s; Crofton, 8s Od to 9s 3d; Lord Wolselev, 8s to 10s; Adam’s Pearmam, Desert ‘Gold, Pioneer, Premier, -Winesap, Shorelaud Queen, Simmonds, and Stark, 7s 6d to 9s. Pears: Demand is good.
