HOBART, Juno 10, There will probably be many now faces in the Tasmanian Parliament as the outcome of yesterday’s General Election, tho complete returns of which jvill not be known for several days. The Nationalist Government, now led hy Sir Walter Lee, which is the only Government that has retained office during the depression in Australia, is likely to have a close call on this occasion, Labour having won seats in the Bass,,Denison, and Franklin electorates. Jt is not expected that the Government will have a majority of more than two, and it may even be a tie. All the Ministers except Mr E. Hobbs, an honorary Minister, are safe. Tho candidates numbered 77, of whom 41 are Nationalists, 27 Endorsed Labour, aud"2 Federal Labour (who have already been heavily defeated), and 7 Independents.
