‘SALLY’
FINAL PERFORMANCE TO-NIGHT Replete with catchy melodies, spectacular dance numbers, and bright, sparkling dialogue, tho delightful musical comedy ‘ Sally,’ performed by the Dunedin Operatic and Dramatic Society, was enjoyed to tho full by another capacity audience at His Majesty’s Theatre last night. Miss Daphne Murdoch, in the title role, again scored a distinct success, both her actiug and singing being of a commendably high standard. _Mr J. M’Farlane was well suited to his part, and Mr Stan Lawson’s Constantine gave this 'player ample < scope _ for exploiting the comedy with which this production abounds. _ Others who handled their respective parts well were Miss Molly Randle, Mr Jack Clark, Mr W. Robinson, and Mr Dick White. The ballet carried out its choruses and ensemble work with the precision of seasoned performers. ‘ Sally ’ will have its final presentation to-night, commencing at 7.45.
