MINIATURE RIFLE NOTES

Alter the holiday break, the Returned Soldiers’ Small-bore Rifle Club will resume its shooting programme on Monday evening next with an A grade interclub match against a team from Speight’s M.R.C. The following will represent the Returned Soldiers Messrs J. J. Judson J. M'Kee, H White, 0. Holden, W. Goudie, W. Meikle, D. Marr, T. Menzies, G. Kerens, J. Harrison; emergencies, Messrs J. Potter and C. Janies. A surprise self-handicap shoot will he fired upon the conclusion of the A grade match. Members are reminded that the .first Cowie Shield teams’ shoot will be fired towards .the end of this month, and those desirous of securing a place in any team arc requested to put in their qualifying shoots.
