Warwick won by an innings and 185 runs. ESSEX v. CAMBRIDGE UNIVERSITY. Essex; First innings, 234; second, three for 112. Cambridge: First innings, four for 440, declared (Winlaw not out 161, Human 137). The match was drawn. Tyldesley’s century was his third in succession and his fifth of the season. He needed only one run for the first 1.000 runs of the season when he was caught in the slips.
