The editor of a sporting journal interviewed a conceited applicant ior tho post of reporter. After some time the editor, who saw through Ins pretensions, said testily; “Moll, what can yon writo about.—golf, cricket, tennis, football, swimming, lacrosse —r” “ Oh, anything,” said tho applicant, jauntily. “Good. Right about turn,” said the editor, “The door’s behind you.”-
