EVERYBODY’S

A stirring drama that grips in its intensity and realism is to be lound in ‘ Once and For Ever,’ the picture heading the ucav bill at Everybody’s Theatre. Tho story tells of the love of a winsome girl for that of the ncpheAV of a harsh and stem French Governor of a French possession, avJio frowns upon tho suit of his handsome neplicAv for tho poor orphan, and tho meddling into their love affair by two gossips who do all but ruin the happiness of the lovers. The scene in which tho young man returns from the Avar

blinded and his longing for his sweetheart is finely portrayed, and the unexpected denouement near the finish is said to ho a fine piece of dramatic construction. Patsy Ruth AJiller and John Barron are the featured stars.

The supporting picture is a thrilling modern drama, ‘ The Sporting Age,' featuring Bello Bennett. There is enough variety in ‘ The Sporting Ago ’ to appeal to all tastes. White horses, speed automobiles, yachts, aeroplanes, and railroad collisions are introduced for the purpose of thrills, tho entertainment value of the picture is by no means dependent upon those mechanics. In place of the usual villain, this attraction has two leading men, Holmes Herbert and Carroll Nye. The former portrays tho husband ol the heroine, while the latter delineates a youth whom the wife tries to infatuate, Bello Bennett is seen as Aliriam Driscoll, the matron, who, upon approaching middle age, makes a last desperate struggle to retain her grip on youthful lure and charm.
