FLOOD RELIEF—A REJOINDER
TO THE EDITOR Sir,. —In reference to Mr Cuttriss’s letter of March 30 in regard In Mr G. and Mrs C., ,1. was tlie relief ofliccr for that area, and these two cases were attended to from the very first. Mr and Mrs G. wore not in their homes until the 25th. and that day, with the assistance of the .Ron - , Mr Moroton, we managed to get down blankets and mattresses to them and others in that lane that had to leave the Army shelter that night. Their coal was delivered the following day. Airs stayed in her house all the time, and was not marooned for two days, as [ was in her house on tho 201 ii. the day after the Hood. These people are very grateful. and fully recognise the lime, attention, and money spent on them. — I am, etc., M. A. AFlmvkk.
