ACCIDENT OH MIME FIFTEEN PEOPLE INJURED dress Association By Telegraph Copyright LONDON, March 30. A most remarkable accident occurred at Cothorstone, near Barnard Castle. The ropes of a suspension bridge over the river Tees snapped when crowds were crossing from a football match, and the bridge tipped up immediately. Twenty people were thrown into the river, which, fortunately, was very shallow. Fittcen j people wore injured by falling on a , licap of stones in mid-stream.—Aus-tralian Press Association.
