NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF SPECIAL ORDER. 13UBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN X that the Dunedin City Council, at a Meeting convened for the purpose and held on Wednesday, the 20th day of March, 1929, passed the following Resolution—viz; That the Council of the Ci!y of Dun* odm, hereby resolves so that this resolution may be submitted to a subsequent meeting of the Council for confirmation as a Special Order, as follows: That in pursuance of the provisions of Section 20 of “ The Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1928, it be and is hereby resolved that the land described in tho Schedule herein, the ownership of which is vested in the Council, be sold. SCHEDULE. (a) The several allotments, shown by green colour on the attached plan and which for the purpose of identification is marked “A,” comprising the excess land purchased by the City Council for tho purpose of widening Mailer street, Morn* ington. (b) Tho allotment shown by red colour on the annexed plan marked B. contain* iug approximately II poles, and being part of the Township of Gordon, comprising the excess land purchased by tho City Council for widening Grey street. And Notice is Hereby Further Given that the said Resolution will be submitted to an Ordinary Meeting of the said Council io be held on WEDNESDAY, the 17th day, of April, 1929, at 7.30 o'clock p.m., for Confirmation as a Special Order. IJUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN X that the Dunedin City Council, at? a Special Meeting convened for the put peso and held on Wednesday, the 6th day of March, 1929, passed the following Resolution by way of Special Order—viz : '■ That the Council of the City of Dundin hereby resolves that the proposed By-law submitted herewith to lie known ns ‘The Dunedin City By-law (Gas Supply) No. 22, 1929,’ amending and extendin'; By-law No. 1 of tbe Citv of Dunedin fog tho purpose of making regulations dealing with the supply of gas by the said Council, be and the same is hereby adopted as a By-law; and it is further resolved that this resolution be submitted to an ordinary meeting of the Council to ba held on Wednesday, the 3rd April, 1929, to which meeting the said proposed Bylaw shall also be submitted for confirmation.” The object and purport of the said proposed By-law is k make new regulation* concerning gas supply installation, gas fittings, and other matters relevant (o tho supply of pas to consumers by the Dunedin City Council, and to make consequential amendments to By-law No. 1 of the City of Dunedin.
