HOBART, Alarch 80. (Received Alarch BU, at 10. BU a.in.) A long sentence prisoner in Hobart Gaol escaped by cutting through the steel bars and plates of the condemned ecll in which be bad been placed. A hacksaw bad evidently been used. The task must, have occupied several davs. Soap was used in the cuts to avoid detection. The man scaled a wall BOft high, and climbed oyer tho roofs of several buildings. Tins is the second occasion on which the same man lias escaped irom custody.
