TIMBER WORKERS’ PROCESSION Press Association —By Telegraph—Cog,'right SYDNEY, Marches The police commissioner officially state.-, that no ballot papers or effigy were burned last night in connection with the timber worker*’ procession, hut some roughs burned old newspapers in sacks. Mr Bruxncr (relieving Chief Secretary ) has accepted this explanation, anti ho declares that Air .1, Carden's assurance was faithfully kept. All the men arrested last night have been remanded till alter the Easter on bail.
