ANNUAL SPORTS The annual sports meeting of the John M’Glashan College was- held on Thursday afternoon on the Caledonian Ground. The ground was rather slippery, preventing last times, but some good finishes were witnessed, while keen rivalry in the standard and form relay races was evident. The children's races provided much amusement, especially the sack race, The mile open event was the best nice ol the day, I. Stevenson, __ off scratch, winning by a couple of yards from Harnett and J. Ross. The lengthy programme was put through with little delay, the officials being: Messrs H. 1). Morgan (referee). A. M.
