THE LOLLIE RECIPE
Brother Bill lias been asked to re* peat the recipe for making candied nuts. Here it is. One cup of brown sugar, one-half cup of water, one teaspoon of vinegar, and one teaspoon of glycerine. Put nil the ingredients in a saucepan and boil until the syrup snaps in cold water. Now put your nuts on a buttered, shallow pan, remove the saucepan from the fire and let stand three minutes, so that th® syrup will stop boiling, then pour it over the nuts. Cheerio everybody, BIG BROTHER BILL.
