The care ol' youthful delinquents in Now South Wales is under the jurisdiction of the Minister of Education, though in New Zealand the responsible Minister is Mr Wilford, Minister ot •In-tin:', who has opportunely circularised stipendiary magistrates to seen re their views on the operation ot children’s courts, a matter in which Mr .Drummond lias indicated that ho is particularly interested. Mr Atmorc, Minister of Education, wlm has hoell in close touch with the vi-it.ing Minister, will receive him on arrival, and make arrangements to provide all the information required regarding the work- of the child welfare branch of the Education Department, and the children’s court svstem.
