(11.5 p.m.), 749 tons, Sheppard, for Wanganui via ports. After loading yesterday the Storm sailed last night for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, Picton, and Wanganui. From Bluff the Waipiata is now due to-morrow. She will load general cargo and sail on Saturday for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Auckland. On Saturday the Kahika is to leave Gisborne for Dunedin direct. She is to load here on Tuesday for Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, Napier, and Gisborne Leading at Westport is to be done by the (Jpihi on April 4. Her cargo will be discharged at Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Port Chalmers. The Corinna clears New Plymouth on Saturday for Nelson, Wellington, and Dunedin, and she is -to load here on April 6 for Nelson and New Plymouth via ports. Binney, who arrived at Wellington from Sydney by the Tahiti on Monday, has joined the Kaimai as third officer. Mr J. S. Beaton, who lias been on holidays at' Wellington, lias relieved the Second officer of the Waihemo, Air R. E. Suckling, for holidays. Air E. V. Condon, who arrived at Wellington from Sydney by the Manama on Tuesday, is joining the Komata as third officer to-day.

INKUM WITH HARDWOODS. An arrival yesterday afternoon was the Gulf Transport steamer Inkum from Buiibury via northern ports with a cargo of hardwoods for discharge. The vessel was berthed at the Rattray street wharf to unload Die local porton of her cargo. The Inkum left Bn 11 bury on February 13 and called at Newcastle for bunkers. Fair weather was experienced until arrival at the coal port. Across the Tasman Sea Die vessel had easterly winds with thick rain and mist. On completion of her discharge at Dunedin, Die Inkum proceeds to Westport for bunkers, thence to Sydney for orders. Captain J. T. Alctham is in command of the Inkum, and has the -following officers with him :—Chief, Air D. Anderson; second, Air E. Eightfoot; third, Mr G. Scales; chief engineer, Air H. Bell; second, Air S. Robinson; third. Air H.'.Sims; lonrth, Air ‘J. L. Hussey; wireless operator, Mr T. D. Gtonow; chief steward, Mill. F. Kavanagh. THE FERRY .SERVICE. The Wallin®, from Wellington, readied Lyttelton this morning at 6.45, and jiassengcrs and mails connected with'Die south express. KARETU FROM SYDNEY. The Union Company advises Dint Die steamer Karetu, now on her way Irani Sydney to Bluff. Dunedin, and Lyttelton. is expected at Bluff on Sunday, and at this port on Wednesday next. EXTRA PORTS. It is advised by .Messrs Turnbull, Martin, and Co. Dial the steamer Kent, which is to leave l.ivciv-ooi on April 13, will now include New Plymouth in her discharging ports. She will cal! at Auckland, New Plymouth, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Port Chalmers. The Cumberland, leaving Liverpool on May 11, will now unload at Timarti and Bluff in addition to Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Port Chalmers .
