MONTE CARLO, March 25. (Received March 26, at 10.15 a.m.) Tho discontent with tho Government of Monaco has taken a new turn. Five hundred persons, despite a lew valuing shots, broke down tho police resistance and formed a procession to the palace, shouting: ‘‘ Down with Prince Louis! Down with tho Constitution!” , . . . ~ , Prince Louis, relenting from Ins first refusal, received a deputation. He afterwards issued a proclamation stating that the elections would bo held in June. (Received March 20, at 11 a.m.) Prince Louis has left for Paris. A proclamation has now been issued cancelling bis promises regarding the elections.' The withdrawal has aroused aimer and the people are demanding the dismissal of Rene Leon, director oi the casino. Further disturbances are feared. —Australian Press Association.
