The Wai t yi'iaf.a, which left last night for Bluff, is due back 911 Thursday to load cargo. She will sail the some day for-Tiraaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Auckland. . It is hoped to despatch the Kaiapoi this evening for Lyttelton, Wellington, and Auckland, where ■ she wall finish discharging her Australian cargo. From Auckland' via ports the Kaimanawa arrived this morning and berthed at the cross wharf to discharge general cargo and fruit. She is to get away to-night at. 8 o’clock for Tiraaru and Westport. The Holmdale sailed last night for Wanganui via the usual ports. . Another departure for Wanganui via ports was the Calm last night. It will be several weeks yet before the Bluff dredge Murihiku .will be ready to depart.Trom Port Chalmers for. some of. the dredging machinery has to be overhauled. The Ojvihi is to load coal at Westport on April, 2 for Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Port Chalmers. PORT CAROLINE LEFT COLON. Homeward bound with New Zealand cargo, the Commonwealth and Dominion Line’s steamer Port Caroline left Colon on Wednesday, en route for London and West Coast ports ot the United Kingdom. The vessel felt. Wellington on February 12. .personal. Captain J. Bruce, has taken command of the Kairanga. Captain A. Reed appointed master of the Waikouaiti, Mr J. Dawson, late chief officer of the Kanna, has joined the Wahine as chid’ officer in place of Mr C. Sharp, who has rejoined the Tahiti as chief officer. Mr D. A.- Menlove has joined ’ the Manuka as third officer in place ot Mr A. H. Dunnings, who has been granted holiday leave. r SHAW, SAV ILL LOADING. The’Shaw, Savill, and Albion ’ Company advises the following loadings f6i America and Horae;— The Otira, on completion of her discharge; at Dunedip, loads at Port Chalmers, thence Oam am, Waikokopu, Auckland, and Wellington, and is scheduled, to sail finally from the latter port on April 24 for London via Kie de Janiero. • The Raranga due at Auckland on Wednesday. from Gladstone, discharges and then commences loading at; Auckland for London, Avonmopth, Liverpool, and Glasgow. She later fills up at New Plymouth, Wanganui, Napier, Auckland, and Wellington, sailing finally from the last-mentioned port on April 24 via Montevideo. ■ The Tainui; on completion of her discharge at Auckland, will commence loading there; thence Opua; Napier, Tiraaru, and Wellington, and sails finally from the latter port on May 9 for Southampton and London via Panama. The Karamca loads at . Port Chalmers. Lyttelton, Nelson, Wanganui, Napier, and Wellington, and clears Wellington finally on May 18 for London via; Panama. ON HER WAY. The steamer Norfolk js now on her way from Liverpool to New .Zealand, having left the Home port on March 16. She has cargo, for. discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin, and is due.mt .Auckland, towards ' the end of next. month.

THE FERRY SERVICE. Passengers mid ’mails from Wellington by the Wahine, which reached Lyttelton at 6.50 this morning, connected with the south express. KEELUNG DISCHARGIN'G. Messrs Turnbull,’ Martin, and Co. advise that the A: and A. Line’s chartered steamer Keeluhg is now at Wellington discharging New 'York cargo. She will then proceed to Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Wanganui to complete. The vessel is due here about April 4. LIVERPOOL SAILINGS. Messrs Turnbull, Marlin, and Co. advise the following sailings from Liverpool;— Kent on April 13 for Auckland; Wellington, Lyttelton, and Port Chalmers. She is due at Auckland about May 25. .Cumberland on May 1 i for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaihi, and Port Chalmers. She is due at Auckland about June 22, Northumberland on June 8 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Port Chalmers. The vessel should reach Auckland about the middle of July, Cornwall on June 22 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Port Chalmers. She is due at Auckland about the beginning of August..
