Colonel Fitzmaurice has sailed for America because ho was “unable to find employment.” He added: “The Government turned down my suggestions and ideas, but if I had been a foreigner I would have been listened to.” He intends to take up aviation in America. —Australian Press Association. [lt was announced recently that Commander Fitzmaurice, the transatlantic flyer, had resigned from the Free State array. Later it was stated that he was planning a second east te west crossing to take place in June.]
