(Received March 25, at 11 a.m.) hi response to suggestions by a large body of members of the House oi Commons that a complete record should he prepared of all past members of that chamber, tho Treasury has appointed a committee to report on the materials available for a record of tho personnel and politics of each of the past members of the House of Commons from the year 12G4 to 1852. It will report also *ou the cost and desirability of publication, while safeguarding the public funds against any large charge lor collecting, editing, or publishing the materials.
