She goes to Bluff next, returning her© on Tuesday morning to load and sail the same day for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Auckland. At present discharging Australian cargo at Dunedin, the steamer Kaiapol is to sail at noon to-morrow for Lyttelton, Tarakohe, Wellington, and Auckiaud.

The Kaiinanawa is due from Lyttelton to-morrow, and is to sail on Wednesday lor Timaru and Westport. About 'Wednesday the Wiugatui is to load at Auckland for 'Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Oamaru, and Timaiii She is cine here about April 4. Jv- is expected that the Kahika will clear Napier on March 28 and Gisborne two days later for Dunedin direct to‘ load on' April 2 for Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, Napier, and Gisborne. The Curiumi is to dear Plymouth on Saturday next and Nelson on April 2 for Wellington and Dunedin. She will load here on April G for Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, Nelson, and New Plymouth. An arrival yesterday morning .was the Calm from Bluff. She was loading to-dav preparatory to sailing to-night fo- Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, an 1 Wanganui. From Wellington direct the Storm is due on Wednesday to load and sail the same- day for Timaru. Lyttelton, Wellington,'Picton, and Wanganui. The Union Company’s intercolonial passenger steamer Manuka lelt Wellington on Saturday on the return trip to Melbourne. The Federal Line steamer Cornwall left Napier on morning lor London, Avoninouth, Glasgow, and Liverpool via Panama. The passenger steamer Ulinmroa ,s due at Sydney to-morrow from Wellington. Arrangements have now been made for the “Shaw, Savill, and Albion vessel Coptic to call at Picton for loading. From Picton she will go to Wellington lo finish loading, leaving there finally on April 9 for London. PORT ALMA PASSES 1 THROUGH CANAL. The Port Alma, which left Wellington on February 23 for London, passed through the Panama Canal on Thursday. SURREY ARRIVES HOME. The Surrey, which left, Auckland on January 29) ’ arrived at London on ■Wednesday afternoon. THE OCEAN RACE. A progicss report of the ocean race between °the, steamers Port Melbourne ami Port Pine lias been received by wire-loss by the C. and D. Umc iiom the Port" Melbourne. The message state., that the vessels, which left Auckland on Wednesday, March 13. for London, are .1,100 miles oast ot New Zealand, running level to date. Both vessels are coal-burners, ami a real rivalry exists between the crews of the two ships on their present voyage Homewards. CANADIAN WINNER-DELAYED. Unloading operations on board the Canadian Winner were delayed at Timoru on Saturday. Messrs H. L. lapley and Co. advise that the vessel is now due at this port about Thursday or Friday to finish putting out her Canadian cargo. KAITUNA’S LOADING. LINE’S LOADINGS. Tho O. and D. Line advises the lollowing loadings for America, England, and the Continent;— The Port Curtis loads at Port diallers, Timaru, .Lyttelton, and Wellington for London, and sails Ironx Wellington on April 20. The Port Darwin loads at New Plymouth, Wanganui. Auckland (April 27 to April 30), Wellington, and Lyttelton, and leaves the latter port finally on May 9 for Rotterdam and London. The Port Darwin loads at, Bluff, Lyttelton, 'Wanganui, Wellington, Napier, Gisborne, and Auckland. She commences early in May at Wnikokopu and N.apier. WOMAN GRANTED LIFEBOAT CERTIFICATE. The first woman to be granted a lifeboat certificate by the British Board of Trade is Miss Blanche* J ticker, chid cashier of the 'French restaurant on the White Star liner Majestic, who passed the examinations recently with Hying colours.
