THE CENTRAL MISSION
FAREWELL SERVICES. For six years past the Rev. W. Walker has been the superintendent of the mission in this city, and the mission has made great, progress during those years. Sunday congregation,have been well maintained, and the (• ospcl message faithfully proclaimed. The debt on the Octagon Hall has hecn reduced very appreciably. As the Rev. Walker has been appointed to BiU Street Church, Auckland, and leaves Dunedin, next week, be will conduct farewell services on Sunday, when large audiences will no doubt assemble to bear him. Solos will be rendered bv Miss Mary Pratt, Air J. T. Leech, and Mr Mortky Peake. A farewell complimentary 1 unction will be tendered to the Rev. W. Walker and Airs Walker in Trinity Church on Monday evening, when brief addresses will be given by representative speaker*, and an invitation is given to all interested to be present.
