The others are also very good, and will appear later. “Epicure.”—You will had the inlormation you require under ‘ The Right Recipe ’ in this issue. “ Batch.”—Mildew in linen is very difficult to remove. The following method if followed carefully will prove successful :—Stretch the article over, a basin of cold water, apply a solution of potassium permanganate mixed in the proportion of one teaspoon crystals to one quart of water; when this turns brown apply a splutipn of oxalic acid mixed in the proportion of loz oxalic? acid to three-quarter-cup water, and immediately plunge the article into the cold water. Rinse thoroughly in cold water, changing many times, then put on the grass to bleach.
