As the jncturo is in sound, Schildkraut, who is an excellent violinist, will have an opportunity to demonstrate Ins musical talent. The work of cutting and synchronising ‘Show Boat’ is being rushed twenty-four hours a day at Universal City in order to open the picture as early as possible in New York City, where it is expected to have a year’s run. Frances Howard, wife of Samuel Goklwyn, is being considered for the leading feminine mart opposite Ronald Column in ‘ Bulldog Drummond.’ Mrs Goldwyn appeared in one picture for Paramount prior to , her marriage. ‘ Wild Orchids ’ Is announced ns the final title for Miss Greta Garbo’s latest starring vehicle for Metro-Goidwyn-Maver, directed by Sidney Franklin. This is a story of tropical adventure, and Miss Garbo’s fellowcountryman, Nils A.sther. lias the leading male role. The story is by John Colton, the famous playwright.
