[Special io tub ‘ Sias.’J AUCKLAND, December 31. No. one grass track was in good order this morning for interesting- gallops ever the sprint distances. Outstanding efforts were Paganalli, lour furlongs in 48 3-ssec; Awarere _ and Aussie (separately), four in 43 4-ssec; Tea Time, lour in 49 l-sseu; Gay Ballerina (who hasn’t run at the meeting), three in 37 3-ssec; Gold Tinge, three, in 38 3-ssec. Vertigern and Crown Area (together) ran six furlongs in Iniin 17 3-osec; and Mervette six in Imin 17 3-ssec. Laughing Prince defeated Motsllns and Count Cavour over seven furlongs in Imin 30 3-ssec.
