NEW YEAR WISHES
SIR JOSEPH WARD'S MESSAGE (£eb United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, December 29. The following New Year message was issued by the Prime Minister to-day;— On tho closing of the year, I express to my fellow citizens the heartiest of goad wishes for 1929. There are solid grounds for predicting prosperous, times for the dominion, and in this prosperity I sincerely hope that all may share. I need hardly say that no effort will be wanting on tho part of myself and my colleagues in the Government to do everything possible to advance the wellbeing of all classes of our people. To one and all I extend my best wishes for a bright and happy New Year. —Josepli Ward, Prime Minister.
