‘TWO LOVERS'
RONALD GOLMAN AND VILMA BANKY With a reputation based largely on romantic stories, told with his characteristic ilair for visual brilliance, Samuel Goklwyn adds still another element, mystery, and adventure, in his latest co-starring picture for Ronald Column and Vilma Blanky. ‘Two Lovers,’ in which the two celebrated stars make their final appearance together, will open at the Strand Theatre on Friday next. This production is the screen version of Baroness Orczy’s well-known 1 novel, ‘ Leatherface.’ Ghent in the 16th century furnishes the background for the story of Donna Lenora of Spain and Mark Van Ryck of Flanders. Briefly its story concerns the restoration or William, Prince of Orange, to the throne of the Dutch lowlands. The naniards, under the tyrannous Duke of Azar, are frustrated in their attempts to stifle Flemish liberty and to capture the renegade Prince by the efforts of the mysterious masked figure, Leatherface._ Vilma Banky La Lenora, the Flower of Spain, niece of the Duke of Azar, oppressor of the Flemish, and .commandant of the Spanish, .
