The Mental Detectives Act, which aroused so much controversy_ during its passage through last Parliament, comes into operation in the New A ear. and the Classification Board will he set up as indicated in the Statute. It will be necessary tor the Government to nominate two members, and this, stated the Hon. A. J. Stallworthy (Minister of Health), will be done in time to enable the board to meet earlv in January. “'The movement, though progressive, will proceed cautiously,” remarked the Minister, who explained that early constitution of the board did not indicate any intention of rushing matters
