SPORT AT QUEENSTOWN
(From Our Correspondent.] Typical Wakatipu weather prevailed at Queenstown for the annual Boxing Day howling tourney. Nearly all the Dunedin clubs, and most of the Southland bodies, were represented, as well as Linwood (Christchurch). Seven rinks in all participated. The arrangements were again in tho experienced hands of Mr J. Rennie, who has for years past proved a host in himsell in connection with bowling fixtures at holiday time here. CROQUET. On Boxing Day two croquet matches were played on tho green in the Government Gardens. The results were;— Break Croquet.—Winner, Mrs T. Nicholson; runner-up, Mrs A. M'Callum; consolation prize, Miss Stead (all of Invercargill). There were twelve entrants. Progressive Croquet.—Winner, Mrs G. H. Curie (Invercargill); runner-up, Mrs Ihbotsnn (Dunedin) : consolation prize, Mrs Swann (Dunedin).
