DIFFICULTIES AT HANKOW CONSIDERED ENDED. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. SHANGHAI, December 21. A naval wireless message this afternoon referred to a hurried visit by two gunboats to Hankow to prevent an illegal search of, British premises in order to impose the improper wine tax. The message stales that it is considered by the naval authorities that the difficulties at Hankow may be considered ended.—Australian Tress Association.
