The express from Invercargill which reached here at 6.23, had twelve cars and 300 passengers, but the second express from Christchurch was light, comprising only seven cars and 150 passengers. The 8.35 a.m. train to Gore this morning carried 350 passengers, and the 9 a.m. to Invercargill steamed out with 250 passengers on board. Three hundred people travelled to Christchurch by tho 8.40 a.m., and 250 passengers wont by the 9.5 a.m. to Christchurch.
