KARITANE REGATTA
Rowing men agree that Kavitano provides the best course in Otago, and it is not surprising that all Otago’s lending crews are competing at tomorrow’s regatta. For the outboard motor boat contests there are record entries, boats coming all the way from Christchurch to compete for the Karitane Challenge Cup presented by Mr J. M. Samson. Mr P. Drummond has consented to take his speed boat to Karitnne to tow the aquaplanes, these contests providing all the tlrills one can desire. It is _ anticipated that loading swimmers will bo entering for swimming and diving evenfe. The children will be well proviced with sports, for which good prizes ire avail able. The public are reqinstsd to note the railway timetables, vliich are advertised in this issue. j
