The ‘ Daily Mail ’ says that Malcolm Campbell lias selected A T evnak Pan, 450 miles from Cape Town, with a large area of sun-baked clay, and giving a clear run' of twenty miles, for his attempt at the world’s speed record. Mr Campbell says: “If I am successful it will be my last attempt I am getting too old for such adventure. If I fail I shall probably continue until I regain the record.”— Australian Press Association.
