Thelma’s Fortune made most of the running from Don Moon, Black Duchess, Habashon, Reonui,. and Genuine. Coming to the turn, Habashon took charge,, but at the distance, Pike, on Reonui, went to tlie front, and won comfortably by two lengths, with half a length between second and third. Don Moon and Black Duchess were together fourth. Time. Imin 37(jsec. Trial Handicap, 400sovs. Cf. Second Division).—Gesto (New Zealand, 8.2) 1, Lord Romeo 2, Sir Trasia (7.11) 3. Fifteen started.
