HIGHCLIFF

On Wednesday night the annual break-up and presentation of prizes took place before a largo audience in .the Highcliff Hail. Mr A, U. Hall presided. The pupils contributed an interesting programme. The junior scholars, under the leadership oi Miss Garrett, did exceptionally well. The programme finished with a cantata by the senior pupils. At the close of the concert prizes were presented to each of the pupils, a large number of specials being included. The chairman thanked all those who had helped the committee so efficiently in carrying out the work. After supper had been handed round dancing was indulged in until the early hours of the morning. The music was supplied by Mr 11. M. Farquhar.'
