ACCIDENT IN CAMP
MILITARY TRAINEE KILLED Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. MELBOURNE, December 24. (Received December 24, at 10 a.m.) A number of military trainees rushed to their tent during a thunderstorm at Williamstown yesterday afternoon and fell against some rifles, one of which happened to be loaded. The rifle exploded, and the bullet shattered the other rifles and splintered a bayonet. William Doyle was killed and four other trainees are _ suffering from minor wounds from flying steel.
