(4.40 p.m.), 1,337 tons, T. Rowlands, from Lyttelton. SAlLED—December 22. Ruapehu, s.s. (12.10 p.m.), 9,018 tons, A. W. M'Kellar, for Lyttelton. _ Katoa, s.s, (5 p.m.),'2,484 toils, Bilton, for Auckland via ports. The Opihi is expected to leave Bluff for Dunedin on Thursday to discharge coal from Westport. After unloading she proceeds to Lyttelton. The .Karetu, which has been delayed at Lyttelton, is now to sail for Dunedin on Thursday to discharge a cargo of Newcastle coal. The'Kawatiri, from Sydney direct, is expected to arrive on Wednesday. On
completion of her discharge she sails for Lyttelton , and Timaru. Tho Breeze arrived yesterday from Lyttelton, and is to sail on Thursday for Timaru, Lyttelton, Picton, and Wellington. Tho Storm is due on January 1, and sails on tho following Thursday for Lyttelton, Wellington, and Wanganui. Tho collier Canopus arrived at Port Chalmers yesterday to undergo annual overhaul. The Katoa arrived from Bluff on Saturday morning to load general cargo, and sailed late thp same afternoon for Timaru and Lyttelton to complete loading for Wellington and Auckland. The Gale is to load at Dunedin on January 3 for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, aud Wanganui. • Tho Waipiata left Wellington on Saturday for Lyttelton, Timaru, Oamaru, and Dunedin, She is expected at this port on Friday. The Ivurow is expected to arrive at Lyttelton about January 1 from Auckland and Wellington, and sails the following day for Dunedin. She carries fruit ex the Tofua. The Union Company advises that the Manuka, from Melbourne, left Bluff at 11 a.m. to-day, and is expected to berth hero about 10 p.m. The vessel is scheduled to sail, on Thursday afternoon for Lyttelton, Wellington, and Melbourne. SOMERSETS MOVEMENTS. Having completed discharge of her genera! cargo from Liverpool, the Federal Line steamer Somerset will go on to Port Chalmers this afternoon to commence loading for London and West Coast ports of Great Britain. She will sail on December 29 for Auckland to continue loading. The other loading ports are New Plymouth, Wellington, and Lyttelton. Tho Somerset is to be despatched from Lyttelton for London on January 23. PORT DARWIN LEAVES PANAMA. Advice by cable has been received by the C. and D. Line that the Port Darwin left Panama on December 17 for London en route from Wellington. The vessel sailed from Wellington on November 24. " DEVON HOMEWARD BOUND. Hie New Zealand Shipping Company has been notified 1 by cable that the Devon arrived at Halifax on ber 16 from Napier yja New .York, en
route to London.' The vessel sailed from Napier on November 8. PORT BOWEN FROM LIVERPOOL, The Commonwealth and Dominion x Line steamer Port Bowen was expected to leave Liverpool on Saturday with general cargo for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin.
